- Does anyone have information on what this S register might have done
- on earlier Sportster 28.8 models, if anything?

- The USR documentation says its "Reserved", I think it does absolutely
- nothing whatsoever. However a friend of mine claims the modem was
- permanently damaged by a S32=6 setting given to him.

- Is this possible? I told him that it was not, and sent email to USR
- for confirmation. I suspect they're all getting a good laugh at my
- expense, but who cares...
